GET ACTIVE! Promote your Business at NAWBO-SV

Make the Most of Your NAWBO-SV Membership! You can’t WIN if you don’t PLAY!
- Attend monthly meetings regularly.
- Join the Board.
- No time? Volunteer for a specific item—we always need help!
- Host a Bar at a monthly meeting.
- The first 30 minutes is key networking time-use it to show off your business!! Relax & have some fun over a great glass of wine or soft drinks and enjoy the evening before the main program starts!
- Provides you with 2 to 3 minutes to announce your business during our meeting and have exposure to all members and Corporate Partners present!
- Costs approx $200 to $300 for first 20 minutes.
- Split the tab with a member, friend, partner or colleague.

- Be a Featured Member at a monthly meeting.
- Provides you with 3 minutes during the meeting to pitch your business, mention your needs.
- Have a table-top exhibit for the evening.
- Bring your promotional materials.
- Attract the attention of the attendees by raffling off a gift. Bring a collection container for the business cards for the gift drawing… you get to keep the business cards to add to your contact database.

- Won an award recently? Let us know—we will highlight special awards on our website.
- Have a great Press Release for your business? Share it with us at a meeting or submit for consideration of placement on the website.
- Maximize your networking time—arrive early! 6pm to 6:30pm is key networking & socializing time
- Stay after the main meeting and get to know the fabulous women you have just met.
- Networking: Ask women what are they looking to accomplish in their business. Ask who their target clients are. Think of all the people with whom you could connect them.
- Offer to provide contacts for other women you meet.
- Ask good questions.
- Introduce yourself to Board Members.
- Ask for an introduction to another member you would like to meet.
- Power Partners: Look for women in related business fields that you could partner with who may share similar client-bases.
- Power Net10: Come prepared to speak about your company & develop a succinct tag line (your “elevator pitch”) Make sure you use it during our 10 minutes of power networking!
- Think of ways you can be of assistance to other members—they will very likely think of referring you & your business!
