Proven Strategies to Navigate Your Career

Three years ago NAWBO-California was able to work with the California Legislature to secure a Resolution, voted on by the Legislators, urging all public companies to have three women on their corporate boards in three years.  We have not moved the needle much–yet.

Corporate boards are paid positions and give great credibility to women executives chosen for boards. Because of your experience operating and growing your businesses YOU might make an ideal board member.  Come to this presentation and find out more about how you can get involved on a board.

Betsy will provide three strategies to help you navigate your career toward corporate boards, even if the pursuit takes years.  Meanwhile, each can help propel others toward corporate boards.  It’s worth the time invested.

Betsy’s book “The Board Game–How Smart Women Become Corporate Directors” will be available on-site for $20 each, below the Amazon price of $25.

Full dinner will be served. No host cash bar will be available.

Member and Guest of NAWBO Member: $50
